Empress Court is back at Caesars

Maybe I'm the only one who didn't know that Empress Court is back at Caesars.
Like it for the food and nice quiet atmosphere, elegant service.
Very good Lettuce wraps.
Good news if they replicate their earlier quality. As you say a nice, elegant and quiet place to enjoy dinner. In fact, once you step off the elevator, you easily forget you are in Las Vegas. As one person stated about the old Empress Court you could tell how good and authentic the food was by the large Asian clientle there.

Looking forward to some reviews as other brave souls give this a try again!
Marc, I can't say whether or not the food quality is the same at Empress Court.
On Saturday, our day of arrival, we asked for 8pm seating.
I wondered at the time how crowded it would be.

The place was nearly empty.

There was a table of four or five 20 something Asian girls, and maybe one other couple, in the whole place.

We made the mistake of having a filling lunch, so we weren't as hungry as we needed to be for dinner.

We shared one order of: spring rolls, combo fried rice, and lettuce wraps.
I had a glass of white Reisling. Husband had water.
- The spring rolls: 4 small hot and crispy rolls, good sauce. I've had better.
- The lettuce wraps: Excellent, good sauce, plenty for two people.
- The fried rice: I am a fried rice afficienado. This was just fair IMO.
- The Reisling was excellent, and I am also a Reisling junky.

I regret that we weren't hungry enough to try more dishes.
Again, the service and atmosphere are enough that we will give EC another try.
Don't think I've ever dined there.........?

Hubby & I ate at the Cloud 9 (I think its called) Noodle place.........and it was very good &
fairly busy. LOVED the decor, and giant gold fish tank. Very unique.

Glad to hear EC is back. Very peaceful, quiet and dignfied without being pretentious. The place was never "crowded" but the clientele were predominantly Asian which I think is a good sign. Loved the Peking Duck.

After eating at the previous rendition of EC and Mr. K's in both NYC and D.C., I've never had Chinese "take out" since!

It's one of those places that I'd pay for out of pocket to eat at. I hope it's held over it's good attributes from before.

Dan
Dan, I hope you and your better half try EC soon and let us know.

Where is Empress Court?

It's Beijing Noodle #9 and I tried it once and had terrible terrible service as a solo diner and will never go back. I was sitting at the bar in the back and my server took my drink order and I ordered some dumplings to start with, but was going to have something else too. Someone else brought my drink (which was quite yummy) and yet someone else brought my dumplings and my server acted like I had cooties or something and wouldn't come near me again. I had to go to the manager to settle my check. I paid cash (exact change even)

Empress Court...across from Payard, you go up an elevator.
It says Empress Court above the elevator.
A hostess stands there to summon your ride.
Hope business picks up.
