We tried it about 4 months ago. Much, much improved. They dumped a lot of cash into it. The food is good but not outstanding. A smaller, well maintained selection. The room is beautiful. If someone told you the room was really the Bellagio buffet, you would believe it. Lots of room and beautiful decorations.
We got it on a myvegas freebie. Is it worth the $22 for dinner? Given the price of buffets in Las Vegas now, I'd say yes. I wouldn't make a special trip for it but if I were in the area, I would go.
