Steaks in vegas? It's STK for me. Nothing but the best. Amazing interiors, especially the couches. I really love it. It's also fun here since there is a DJ. it makes eating more fun instead of just being plainly quiet. Nice steaks and nice party place. Their bar is the best. Oh, and also, don't forget about the caviars. those are amazing.
Hey Gordon. While STK is generally out of my price range, I would consider it for a spluge night. I checked out the menu and pictures online and it looks like a great place.
I went to their location in Nashville. Its absolutely a great experience but I always struggle to find the value of any meal that tops $100/person. STK is closer to $200 by the time you get wine and dessert. I guess sometimes you just have to live a little and not count nickels and dimes. Its not an easy exercise for me.
The big trend at these places now is the giant, raw seafood tower you can get as an appetizer. STK has a good one from what I saw....I was able to experience one of those at Mastro's next door to Aria. They pack them up with Shrimp cocktail, raw oysters, cold crab, and a few sushi bites. They customize it to the size of your party....in my case we had a party of 6 and the tower was about 3 feet tall. I dont know what the bill for that was - I'm glad the company picked it up.
It's a universal truth that an expensive gourmet meal tastes much better when someone else is paying for it :)
I used to go to steakhouse at Boulder station. Now they took out the salad bar. Very disappointing. I won't go back again until they reinstate it. The pandemic taught me one thing- I can live without going out to eat !!!
We're thinking about trying the Golden Steer on our next trip. Anybody have a take?
