firefly at plaza temporarily closed?

we ate there thanksgiving weekend and the place was full -- as it has been the other three times we've been. got on the firefly's website just now while planning out a few things for our upcoming trip and it says 'temporarily closed' - but the plaza's website doesn't even mention firefly now.

i know the plaza is going thru big renovations - but i hope they'll keep firefly. it's really a great find at the end of fremont street, fits that room/site wonderfully and is the most redeeming thing about the plaza in a loooong time ((coming from someone who used to stay there)).

so? what's the full scoop? anyone know?

I was in the Plaza around Xmas time and as I posted earlier, I was curious about the remodeling and seen a sectioned off area on the main casino floor that was open only for Plaza employees to buy any of the Alcohol they had there, I figured they wouldn't have offered this unless they were closing down some of there food and liquor operations shortly.

December aswell...pretty dead there! We used our 241 and the waitress told us is was closing next week.

firefly at the Plaza is indeed temporarily closed during the hotel's renovations.
