Fleming's Prime Steakhouse info..

Looking for information concerning Fleming's Prime Steakhouse on W. Charleston Blvd. I have someone that requires gluten free food options and their website looks like they are gluten free friendly. Looks like they are "off the grid" in regards to being close to the Strip, but I will have a car so driving out to the far western part of town will not be a problem. Probably hit up the Red Rock Casino afterwards. This would be for a birthday dinner, so looking for some place nice, with a decent wine list. Thanks

Are you seeking opinions about whether Fleming's is your best choice for a high-end steak dinner?

Mush: I am seeking information about this particular steakhouse. This place seems to be my daughter's choice for dining while we are in Vegas. Her friend has a dietary problem with gluten. I'm trying to find out how Fleming's food/service is.

Most better steakhouses have gluten free choices or can adjust a menu item so it is prepared gluten free.

This has nothing to do with your particular steakhouse question, but my daughter is gluten free (GF) because of celiac disease, and we just did Vegas with her. Thought I might offer a couple places we found. The Cracked Egg is very GF friendly and very good for breakfast. They are off strip (6435 S Rainbow Blvd # 100) but worth the trip. Also Maggiano's at Fashion Show has a GF menu. PF Chang has a GF menu. As another poster said, the better steak restaurants should be able to accomodate but pop in or call and ask to speak to a manager/chef before reserving. Dealing with this can be a gigantic pain in the butt when dining out but a little preplanning goes a long way in saving time. Hope this helps.
