Garduno's at Palms

So what is the current scoop on Garduno's? Is it still open? Has a closing date been announced? My wife and I are going the first week in August and hope to hit it one more time. Thanks!

I will be in LV the end of August and am also wondering when Garduno's will close.

I ate there on 7/1 and I was also told they didn't know.

I just happened to call yesterday as we were hoping to meet friends there when we go later this month. (It's where we like to use the 50% off Member's Reward Palms coupon) The lady could not tell me closing date either, but she was pretty sure it would still be open on July 24th when we'd be there.

We eat there all the time and I just think that it's a shame. Employees lose all seniority at closing and start from scratch (if there is another position open). Ordinarily they could "bump" a server at another Palm's restaurant with less seniority but not in this case. A lot of those people have been there since Garduno's and the Palm's opened. I was told of a bartender who has been there since opening who will lose his job although a new Sports Bar is opening that I'm sure will need bartenders. I'm am sure that the employees would not be treated this way if George Maloof was still in charge and not the corporate suits.

This was our spot for the 50% coupon too as we used to hit the Sunday brunch before football. Not sure where we might use that deal now or even if we will go to the Palms. They remodeled the sportsbook but, it is now managed by Cantor which is bad news for anyone interested in being treated like a customer rather than an annoyance. Too bad.

Garduno's is where we use the 50% coupon for the Palms, not sure if we will be going to the Palms without Garduno's.
How's the food been recently since all are losing jobs? We will be in LV August 6th and if still open and food is still good would like to go for the last time.
