Giada's??

Anybody been there recently? I met a couple and they said it was the best meal they ever had. Another said so so.

I searched these forums I did not see anything recent. Thx.
I have eaten there twice, but not recently (2014). The food is excellent, & expensive. Service stinks (IMHO), the wait staff is lazy.
I used my TR dining certificate for lunch which helps.
I will probably dine there again.
Try tripadvisor or yelp for reports on Giada.
Thanks.
My daughter and I had lunch at Giada's last December. The hostess wanted to seat us by the window, but my daughter did not want to sit in the bright sunshine, so we requested other seating. The hostess looked a little miffed at our request, but sat us away from the windows. The food was average, and that is being a little generous with my evaluation. My daughter ordered off of the breakfast menu and I had a sandwich, salad and a glass of sangria. The waiter brought us our food; put a large plate of pasta in front of me and then walked quickly away. I had to get up and chase him down to tell him about the error. He seemed to be a little annoyed about the situation. My daughter had to ask for jam for her toast....the wait service was pretty lax. Considering the quality and flavor of the food vs the price of the meal ($100) and the level of service from our waiter, I won't be dining there anytime soon. Probably the biggest dining disappointment that I have had in Vegas.

I too was somewhat disappointed in the fare. For all the hype food is decent but there are better options at lesser cost. I too felt the staff was somewhat indifferent overall.
We ate there last month using a groupon for breakfast on a weekday morning.
Great service & EXCELLENT meal. Usually I figure you can't mess up breakfast (PH buffet proved that theory wrong) & there isn't much difference. But this was OUTSTANDING.
I am gluten intolerant so most of the lunch/dinner menus I cannot eat.
Now, I paid about $17 for 2 with a promo code for $40 worth of food--we only spent $36. (tipped on $36)...great value for $17 but $36 is pricey for breakfast, imo.
I have eaten breakfast and lunch there. Have not had trouble with wait staff, though sat at the bar on my last visit. Food is excellent, expensive, and portions are generally small. While not the best "value" in Las Vegas, the quality of the food and the view made it worth it.
I have to agree with others that the food was good, the room nice as well as the view. But, the 3 times I have been there for lunch, the service ranged from bad to down right sucked. The last meal we had about 6 months ago, once the waiter took our order, I never saw him again. He was in the dining room but never came back to our table of 4.
Giada has many dishes that feature lemns, so be forewarned that this is not typical Italian food.

Joy
i love lemmings with lemns.........sorry. bored tonight
