Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris

Went Tuesday evening with another couple. Had reservations for 7:15 and got to restaurant a few minutes after 7 and were told that they were running a little late and to come back in 30 to 45 minutes. Went back at 7:45 and still had to wait a few more minutes. Place was packed. Two of us wanted the Beef Wellington and they were told it would take at least 45 minutes to prepare. It didn't. Dinner was served for all four of us within 20 minutes. Food was good but overpriced. The noise level in that place from background "music" is terrible and you cannot have a conversation in a normal speaking voice which only increases the overall noise level. I wouldn't go again and do not recommend it.

I agree with you, I ate there solo at the end of March, my diamond dinner voucher was expiring that weekend and I made a 7:30 reservation. I waited over 20 minutes to be seated, from what I remember. I was seated upstairs and it was really loud, even had a hard time hearing my server sometimes.

Hubby and I have reservations for my bday next month at the new BLT Steak @ Balllys, can't wait to try it.
