Gordon Ramsey's Pub and Grill - Caesars

Had dinner at Gordon Ramsey's Pub and Grill in Caesars Palace where Ogden's used to be.

1. They're check-in is completely disorganized. There are no special lines for the higher tier cards, there is no line at all, so people tend to just crowd around the front desk.

2. It's hard for me to think of a more uncomfortable place to sit. The bar area has high, hard stools. The restaurant has leather couches and arm chairs. The table they serve you on is low, which is like eating in your living room on a coffee table. The sofas all are on rollers, which glide back and forth if you dare move.

3. The menu is very limited and, as expected, much higher priced based on Ramsey's name.

4. The food is good...it is NOT great.

5. Our server asked if we'd like bottled water, we asked what type it was, he said, "it's out of the facet."

The entire experience was a bad one. I will not return.
Boy! Sounds like Gordon needs to get in that kitchen and start yelling and bullying!
Wow.Seems so totally opposite from the experience my daughter and son in law had at Gordon's place at the Paris.
Jon: I'm sure the company (your eating companions) were great, though ...

Dined there once. We thought the food was very good but pricey, especially for "pub" food.

Can agree with the disorganization of the front. They told us to make reservations when we called for a late afternoon Saturday afternoon visit. We get there and NOBODY is in line! lol We still had to have them look up our reservation to confirm that we called anyway. We didn't sit at the bar but at one of the lounge-type tables. We did get the tap water that comes served in a decanter-style vessel and was well chilled. It cost $60+ for just the two of us. That didn't include any alcoholic beverages. Not the traditionally inexpensive pub food we think Gordon would have experienced across the pond. Guess that's the price of doing business at Caesar's? Not on our list to revisit, especially with far better and less expensive options around.

It made us to not want to try his other Vegas establishments on just the prices alone. We think the Grand Lux Cafe is the better option when it comes to price and quality.

We also had a disappointing experience at the Pub. Thought it was going to be worthwhile, totally not. Sat at the uncomfortable bar and the bartenders ignored us for much too long........not that busy..........and with attitude. Food was not worth the price.

The steak house at Paris is a completely different deal. Fantastic food, good service and yes, pricey!
