Happy "National Cheese Pizza Day"!

I received a text message this morning from Ventano Italian Grill and Seafood informing me that today is National Cheese Pizza Day. Individual cheese pizzas for $5 from 11am to 3:30pm today.

This holiday was previously unbeknownst to me, but given my wife's predilection towards pizza, it now all makes sense why we were married on this date 19 years ago.....she wanted a reason to go have pizza on this date every year.

My wife insisted that it's our patriotic duty to go eat pizza on this most auspicious occasion.

Being mathematically minded, I am partial to Sicilian Pizza since the "Pie R Square". Seriously, it's difficult getting good New York Style Pizza here in Vegas, but I've found Joe's New York Style Pizza in the shopping plaza on Paradise opposite the Hard Rock to be he best. And they serve it by the slice just like NYC. Happy Pizza Day!
