Mrs. Don and I were there on Sunday. Not much different from pre-pandemic.
Had my usual lox, toasted bagel, cream cheese, capers, tomatoes and red onions.
The shrimp are peeled with just the tail still on. Pre-pandemic I thought you had to peel yourself, but I could be mistaken.
The breakfast sausages are different, Pre-pandemic they were more "zingy" and flavorable.

Thanks for the info. By any chance did they have that great salmon they used to have? I know they had not had it for quite a while before the pandemic, but just wondering. That would make it worth it.

Don the Dentist, is the 80% reduction in comps/cashback for VP at Rampart, that went into effect this month, going to curtail your play there? Are the regulars upset about it? The letter from the casino boss about the cut was rather insulting, saying they were changing the point structure due to "popular demand" for larger multipliers! Now a 5x multiplier (on a rare day) gets you back to the old comp/cashback rate!
I agree 100%. The explanation of "popular demand" was very insulting. Management must think that we are total idiots!!
As a VIP player, we get 5x points every day, which brings us back to the pre-change levels. But since there are no 10x point days, Rampart has effectively eliminated the old 2x point days, which they had one day a week and sometimes two days.
Our play will definitely decrease. Instead of averaging $100K coin-in per month, we are going to decrease it to around $50K and see what happens to the mailers and discretionary comps.
Just another comment on Rampart. They are having a blood drive event on Sunday the 26th, and are giving a 2 for 1 for their buffet. I donate every 60 days anyway and this is a nice perk. Before the pandemic, they used to give everyone 2 free buffets, as did Gold Coast. Now, nothing from Gold Coast of course.
