heart attack grill

Heard so much about the heart attack grill. Will be arriving in Vegas in Sept. Looks like a place you must visit. I was reading that you dress up in hospital gowns, and some reviews say its good other people say its bad. I live in PA in the Dutch Country which everyone was brought up cooking with lard. Think my husband and self will like. I also work in a hospital

Has anybody visited the place and can give me some feed back

Thanks
They have a big sign outside that says "350 lbs. and over eats free" . Never been in but have gone by several times. Patrons wearing hospital gowns and waitresses wearing nurse uniforms. Looks like everyone is having fun.
Took some photos at Christmas. I find the whole concept totally disgusting, All they sell is artery clogging junkfood and they will feed you free if you weigh over350lb? Well the next time that they have a medical emergency, I really hope that they are sued for every cent. It isn't even funny - just totally sick!
I plan on going there on my next trip.

I plan on going there in Sept. It sounds like a really fun place. As I said I am from PA Dutch Country everything is cooked in lard. Looks like a fun time. Love those paper gowns. Work in hospital have to wear them all the time.
I've walked by the place several times and am repulsed by their menu and overall concept. Correct if I'm wrong, but I don't even think you can get water with your meal.
But, to each his own. By all means, check it out and give us a report.
Any place that offers a pack of cigarettes for dessert can't be all bad.
We hotel hop Downtown (comps) spent 4 nights then 2 nights at el cortez in the fall. Walked by quite a few times, that place was pretty dead. I don't think it will survive...it's pretty sick saying they'll feed people 350+. With all the health issues due to weight, it's hard to believe ....

I won't set a foot in the place, I'm always looking for healthier vegas options.
I do think the sign that says "Cash Only" because you might not live until your check clears is pretty funny.
But I'll leave patronizing the place to others.

It would be a nice change of pace to see something actually succeed in that location, though.
Many a so called fine restaurant with a more socially acceptable name puts out food to glowing reviews by critics and customers that is no more healthful than the menu at the H/A grill.
