heart attack grill

The front of the restaurant is a giant window so you can see all of the "patients" inside eating with their hospital gowns. The waitresses are all hot chicks wearing slutty nurse outfits.
Its overpriced fast food attempted to be justified by giving the patrons some eye candy to look at.

Hooters called - they want their concept back.

If you are going to pay up for a burger and fries I suggest you go to one of the gourmet burger places on the strip that have a much higher quality product.
A guy I know went to the HAG and had a Milkshake and he said that it was unbelieveably rich. I know that there is a sign on the building that says that it has the highest Butterfat content Milkshakes. He told me that he did find pieces of butterfat in it.

When I walked by it in November, there seemed to be (this was in the afternoon) a nice amount of people in there.

A friend and I ate there. I only got an order of fries and a shake. The shake was so thick and didn't taste very good. They actually had a pat of butter on the top of it. I had maybe 3-4 spoonfuls and left it at that. The fries were OK but very very greasy. My friend got one of the burgers. He said it was good but not even close to as good as Stripburger. As the people mentioned above. You are paying for the "Hooters" atmosphere. If you want to stop I would do it soon, I just don't think with how busy it was that it will even still be in business come September...

Regardless of the food, Neonopolis seems to be the Kiss of Death for any business. Not sure why, just is.

Ate there in December - hubby had the double w/bacon, fries and a frozen margarita or daiquiri. I had a plain single with a bottle of water. The tab for that was $36 plus tip.

They only offer bottles (non-diet) of soda or water or booze...the only choices for burger toppings are onions or tomatoes - no lettuce, no pickles.

My single was dry-ish, bland and super expensive for what I got. Hubby ate about 1/2 of his burger, a few of his fries and said it was 'pretty good'.

Overall, I'd skip it and go somewhere else!

Happy eating!

Although I haven't eaten at HAG yet, I have to agree with your point.

Fois Gras or Lard? I think each is equally high in the "bad" fats.

The big point is, we as a society have gotten so far away from eating what we enjoy because we fear we have to eat only what is "good" for us. BTW, are eggs good or bad for us this week? Should I drink milk or Silk? I can't decide between high cholesterol and increased cancer. Hmmmm, decisions, decisions.

While I wouldn't eat at HAG everyday, I intend to eat there at least once. I miss the days of my grandma's apple pie--crust made with lard, scrambled eggs and BACON, and biscuits--made with Lard, and Fried Chicken--fried in LARD......

Drooling as I type this....gonna have to add an additional 30 mins of workout each day just thinking about this.....

Still drooling as I continued reading this thread and got this far--
The shake was so thick and didn't taste very good. They actually had a pat of butter on the top of it.

I must go to the HAG soon--can't tell enough from the descriptions if the food quality is truly poor, or if the skim-milk, canola oil foodies we've become have just lost touch with the homestyle taste of past generations.

For example, what exactly "didn't taste good" about the shake? Was it bland/flavorless? Was it too "buttery"? Was it not sweet enough?

Were the "very very greasy" fries that "time to change the fryer oil" greasy? Or were they that "thick, silky, melty bacon fat" greasy? Makes a big difference. What did they taste like?
