Help Picking a Buffet?

Hello,

What would you pick for the best buffet on the strip? We've never done Bellagio, Wynn, Encore, Aria, etc. (I list these because from reading most posts it sounds like these might be at the top of the list). We want to try one of the "nicer" places and I wanted to just see what might get the most recommendations. Again, from reading most posts I see that M gets a lot of recommendations but we're looking for strip only. Oh, and we'll probably do breakfast one place and lunch/dinner at another while we are there (different days) so if you have any recommendations based on time of day that would be great too.

Advice about when lines start and how long the wait is, etc., if known would be great too. (sorry, I"m getting greedy with all the questions). :-)

Thanks for any help.
If price doesn't figure into the equation then I tend to think Bellagio is the best. Its fairly large and everything is of premium quality by buffet standards. I'd say the quality at the Wynn is just as good but not as much selection.

When it comes to breakfast buffets (not brunch) I tend to think there isn't much reason to cough up the extra cash for places like Bellagio. You'll save money by going to the Paris and the quality is about the same.

Lines on the strip can vary between nothing & 1 hour depending on the day of the week/time of year/convention schedule/etc.
Also agree the Bellagio is the best on the strip we've experienced. Great quality food with ample selection. We've seen people line up for 2 hours or more....when this happens we eat elsewhere in the Bellagio as we're not that patient!! Other times we've been there and the wait was minimal.....timing is everything. We've only eaten the dinner buffet ...usually have breakfast/lunch at Cafe Bellagio.
Bellagio vs. Wynn, what do you guys think? We've been to Bellagio, thought it was great, haven't been to Wynn yet. Thanks!

I have preferred the Wynn buffet as to the "B".

Both are pretty dang good however, either choice should serve what you desire.
We prefer the Bellagio brunch buffet. Go early otherwise the line to get in is long. Worth the wait though.
My favorite will always be Bellagio, since Wynn has more seafood than I care for and I still think Bellagio has the best desserts. Stay away from the Kobe at the Bellagio and have the Beef Wellington or Prime Rib instead. Bellagio's Prime Rib is better than Wynn's.

Tip: if you go to Bellagio on a Friday or Saturday it's their gourmet night. Expensive but worth it. Go before 3:30pm and you can still pay lunch at least the last time I went you could, that's how I accidently discovered this! It's about a $16 price difference per person so it's worth it. Make sure you allow enough time to wait in line unless you have a line pass.

We do this all the time (arrive and pay just before 4 to get dinner at lunch price) and it would also work for gourmet night on Friday BUT it wouldn't work as well on Saturday. They have Brunch on both Saturday & Sunday. So, I guess you could still do it on Saturday, but you'd only be saving about $7 (Brunch is $29.95). We've also come across some really long lines there, so you're always taking a chance. Bellagio is my favorite buffet
Bellagio all the way here....I really love their breakfast but dinner and lunch are awesome as well.....Wynn is terrific but they have a different type food there...Bellagio is high quality staples.....you can always by pass the line and pay at the bar...my favorite trick!
