Hofbrauhaus

Coming to Vegas in August to get away from everyday grind and really like to visit the Hofbrau when we are there. Understanding things might not be what they normally were, but does anyone have any info on when it might be reopening? Thanks in advance.

I would give it a 50% chance of reopening at best. There's just not that much incentive, especially since August is not a busy month in Vegas. Two questions:

1. Do you really want to visit Vegas when it's 119 degrees outside?

2. Is sauerkraut an effective coronavirus antidote?

Thanks for the response. We have been there the last 3 years in August as it's our yearly anniversary trip, we just love it there. Plus desert heat compared to Minnesota humidity and heat, I'd take Vegas. Hottest day of the year last year and we spent a lot of time in the Luxor pool with a bunch of friends that traveled with us. Great time. Plus not as crowded, obviously this year that will be the case too I'm assuming.

As for the Kraut, not sure on the antidote, but I do know it can help with some other bodily functions. My wife is of deep German heritage (mother-in-law came from Germany in her early 20's) so it's a big deal for her and I do like a good German brew, but won't have Lederhosen on.

Thanks again.
