IN N OUT Burger

I would have bet a lot that this world couldn't produce someone who would prefer McDonalds to In-N-Out.

Proven wrong again!
I can't say that I prefer McDonald's to In-N-Out, but I do think Carl's Jr.'s charbroiled burgers are better (when they're fresh).
In-Out Burger is pretty good for fast food, however, nothing can compare to the burgers I get from Burger Bar @ MB.
In-N-Out has some competition now that a Five Guys has opened in Las Vegas.

Five Guys will be in Henderson so it is not very handy. We love In N Out. In fact when we arrive the afternoon of 3/15 and pick-up our rental car we will be stopping at the Tropicana location on our way to the Orleans. My wife must eat gluten free and she loves the fries and lettuce wrapped burger. We live in Indianapolis and would love to see In N Out move East. McD, Wendys, BK, no comparison. Hardees is the only fast food burger joint in Indy that compares but my wife cannot eat their fries. We have Five Guys so we might check it out. Red Robin is OK but it is a sitdown place.
I love In N Out Burger. Always eat there once or twice during a trip to LV. Since I'm from Ohio, there aren't any close by, so I always look forward to eating there as well as Metro Pizza & Blueberry Hill! Yum!
"Reviews" of these regional chains are always difficult because what is common and readily available to some is a rare treat to others. As Mare says, she has one around the corner, but lasvegasgambler looks forward to it since In and Out doesn't exist in Ohio.

This was recently put in perspective for me when Steak 'n Shake opened at the South Point and many people were asking about this midwestern chain and looking forward to trying it out. I have a Steak 'n Shake around the corner and rarely go there so I was surprised by the interest in what I consider a mediocre burger joint. However, if Steak 'n Shake pulled out of my area and I ran across one on my travels, I'd probably stop in just for the nostalgia.
I dont believe there are any short walks from the strip to an IN-N_OUT location. The 2 closest locations I am aware of are:
1) Sahara Blvd accross from Palace Station. About 3/4 mile west of the Sahara Hotel.
2) Tropicana Blvd next door to Wild Wild West motel. You could walk there from the Orleans...longer walk from NYNY

Review: They make a darn good fast food burger and its kindof a Vegas tradition so I usually make a point of stopping every trip. I wouldn't say its worth the walk from the stip. I like FIVE GUYS much better (better fries).
