Joe's Seafood and Prime Steaks

Has anyone tried Joe's Seafood and Prime Steaks at Ceasers? How is it?

I can pass on a review from a friend who basically goes to Vegas to eat (or at least, it seems that way). He went there with his significant other. Their concurrent evaluation was that it was high quality and nice ambiance, but "not nearly enough of either to justify the prices they charge."

His SO was a lot more dazzled by the overall Strip vibe than he was--he's lived in Vegas before, but she hasn't. So she wanted to go to a flashy "old Vegas" joint.

Of course, Vegas has a plethora of quality steakhouses, and many of them are downright bargains, and my friend knows that. The odds were roughly 40 trillion to one that you could find quality AND value at Caesar's. Heck, they now charge you $10 to use the bathrooms.*

*$8 if you have a Total Rewards card.

Looking for dinner before Absinthe. The original plan was Bugsy and Meyers but it is closed mondays. We are going to be wrapping up with something at the Venetian around 4pm. Then seeing the 8pm performance of Absinthe at Caesars. So we are looking for something close. We have placeholder reservations at Bacchanal but unsure if we want a buffet.  Looking for other options. Leaning torward a steakhouse.

Do you want value or glitz? Because no place on the Strip will give you the former.

What will you have available for transportation? Because there are a dozen places with a couple of miles of the Strip that will give you a better meal at half the price.

If you're on foot and just want to get dinner on your way to Caesars--theres actually not a lot of difference price or quality-wise among most of the mid-Strip steak joints. If you want to get a better meal off-Strip, I have some recommendations.

Number one is Cornerstone at the Gold Coast. As good quality-wise as any Strip joint, and much less expensive. They have great happy hour specials, which fits into your time frame. And they're more or less kinda sorta within walking distance of Caesars.

We won't have a car. I don't mind jumping in an Uber / taxi but it might be a tough sell for the rest of the group.

Well, then, Cornerstone is a twenty minute walk from Caesars. Worth it.

Not a steakhouse, but the Japanese place at the Aria looked really good, and a cool room.  I think it was Fuki, also Haviars mexican is pretty good.  The free tram at the Ballagio can take you there and back. Have fun at the show, it is a good one

Joes Seafood is my favorite restaurant. Know for the snow crabs but they have excellent seafood and every thing is very good. Yes the prices are high but the service and food are worth it. They have some things on the menu that are lower priced like a chicken dish. The best keylime pie ever. Everything on the menu good.
