Personally, I would rather go to one of the coffee shops. They always have a midnite special for cheap.
Silverton and South Point have great midnight specials, and I am sure there must be more locations. This would be a nice list to have...
I cant imagine Palace Station's late night buffet will last. I'm surprised the Stations chose that as the experimental property instead of the Palms. There's alot more late night clubbers with the munchies at the Palms. Palace Station's crowd is in bed by 10.
I also cant imagine the food quality would be very good. Go to a buffet at 3PM sometime and see what happens when some of the selections sit on a steam doc for an hour.
So, yeah, I'd stick with the diners who will make your food to order.
The Coranado Cafe at South Point has great late night specials. They run from 12am-6am.
I believe that Palace Station will only have the overnight buffet while the cafe is closed for renovation. We'll see if that's true when the new cafe opens.
