Thinking about options for the night we see O at Bellagio. Is Le Burger Brasserie good? Not looking for anything earth-shattering, but I'd be very disappointed if it's TGIF quality. Any thoughts?
I really enjoy the burgers, even better when using the BOGO LVA coupon. Our last visit service was pretty bad but that is the first time we have had that issue.
Food is good, but a couple years ago we used the coupon during happy hour. The waiter told us drinks were two-for-one, so, of course, we also ordered two drinks each. Then when the waiter brought our check, he told us we had to choose between the 241 burgers or the 241 drinks. So since then, when ordering, we make sure we clarify everything before the waiter walks away. Kind of annoying, but we really kind of felt like the waiter hosed us the first time.
I agree, the waiter really should have told you about that restriction (and it kind of sounds like a CET-style restriction). I've heard bad things about the service, to be honest with you.
I think it depends. Once I always show my coupon upon arrival, we also go for HH only once did the waitress say it was an issue but then she gave it to us anyway. I think you will enjoy it It isn't overwhelming in the sports theme not really noisy with tvs.
Sorry to rain on the parade. I think you hit the nail on the head..."was worried about it being like a glorified sports bar with a little French influence here and there." I thought it was very slightly more upscale than TGI Fridays with no French influence at all (just in Paris, so French name). Small menu but a decent burger and fries. If you want slightly better WITH a little French influence try Mon Ami Gambi. As for timing, getting out of Le Burger Brasserie within an hour should be no problem. Getting out of Mon Ami Gambi within an hour might be a problem...as it really is a bit more French. Stu
Thanks, Stu. I'm really not the sports bar type, but I'm going with the majority vote. If the burger is decent and we can get in and out quick, I'm happy with that.
If it were up to me, Mon Ami Gabi would be an option, so would one of the Asian places at Bellagio. Then, there's Max's, the Filipino joint (a chain, mostly in the Philippines) on Flamingo.
I have to say....after eating at the new Shake Shack at NYNY - I'd just assume have one of those bad boys vs anything from the gourmet burger joints. The only gourmet burger I've had that really justified the price (IMO) was the Mac-n-cheese burger at Guy Fierri's place in the Linq.
But getting a coupon definitely makes the gourmet burger joints more palatable, so to speak.
