locals steak house

Looking for mid priced locals steak house.  There are a few downtown and on the strip.   Too high priced and the menu is not very big.  We can use an uber or lyft to get around if need be.  Please help thanks

Well using the LVA coupons there are quite a few in there mainly from Station casinos. Sonoma Cellar is very good at Sunset Station.

Gold Coast steakhouse Cornerstone is a favorite of ours with prices reasonable and the ACG coupon book has a $20 off coupon for $40 spent.

Rons steakhouse at Arizona Charlies on Decator is reasonable. The casino is smokey but the steakhous is small and nice with good food.

Samstown steakhouse is also reasonable and they run alot of good specials.

Golden Steer is a little high but excellent food with a great history of where all the great stars of yesterday hung out on West Sahara.  If your going before Sept 1st, they have a Groupon for $35 for $60 off. Keep checking as groupon gives an extra 20% off.  Today they have an extra $5 off.

Hope this helps. Jon

Also think about Redwood Steakhouse at the Cal, we ate there last week, it was very good.  Andiamo (at the D) is fantastic, but a bit pricey.  Vic and Anthony's (GN) is pretty good, but they have an unadvertised prix fixe dinner that's a real bargain.

If you have the LVA coupon book, then Binions Steakhouse is the way to go. 25% off the entire meal, including wine. And you can use both the Binions and Four Queens slot club points to pay all or part of the bill.

Binion's is very good, especially with the POV.It also has a great view.

Almost every casino has a steakhouse.   The prices are usually comensurate with the incomes of its target clientele.    Austin's Steakhouse at Texas Station is a few dollars cheaper than many of its peers.

If you dont care about ambiance you can eat a really good filet with some awesome sides in Sigels 1941 at El Cortez.    Just keep in mind its essentially a diner.

Didn’t Austin’s close last year.  Also you mentioning Segels, made me realize how much we miss Roberta’s/Flame at El Cortez.

Agree, Jokare, Siegel's is a real disappointment compared to Roberta's/Flame.  It's too bad, we never missed Roberta's when we were in town.  And yes, Austin's is closed; it was a really great mid-level steakhouse.  We ate at the Charcoal Room at PS last week, it was good but somewhat uneven.  Might go back in a pinch (and the $30 MRB coupon helps), but there are better options.

I would recommend the Twin Creeks Steakhouse at the Silverton, if it fits your budget.  Excellent food, service and casual.  We have enjoyed it for dinner several times along with their happy hour specials.

Bummer about Austin's.

I find the food quality at Siegels to be in line with Roberta's...BUt Roberta's had a classier atmosphere.   SIegels feels like Johny ROckets inside - which is on purpose.   But yeah, I prefered the look of Robertas
