Lunch to dinner transition at Bellagio buffet?

So, we're playing MyVegas and have a bunch of LPs. Thinking about doing the lunch buffet at Bellagio and then seeing O (both MyVegas awards), so I'd kind of like to eat late-ish. Is it possible to go to the buffet around 3pm and stay through the transition to dinner? I figure that way we'll have a little time to play, watch the fountains, etc., but won't lose most of a day. Thanks!

I actually showed up at 3:20 on a weekday in Feb. and found no line-did exactly what you describe below. Planning on doing the same again on our next trip, though not cutting it as close as that.

if you get there just before 4pm its the lunch price and they start the dinner switch. we do it every trip.

Thanks. I sometimes do that at Hard Rock here in Tampa. I also know that some casinos have an hour or so dead time between lunch and dinner, so it doesn't work in those places.

I was there in late February and surprised to see the transition time has changed from 4:00 to 3:30 for dinner.
So, plan on being there before 3:30 or you'll pay full dinner price.
