M buffet on Wednesdays

Since Feb 16, M has offered a 2/1 buffet to their over-50 players club folks.

Has anyone been there the last few Wednesdays? and Are the lines just ridiculously long?

Just checking it out since I'll be in Vegas in early April.

Thanks for the help.
It depends when you get there. We got there about 10am(the old lunch for breakfast price trick). Line was about 10 to 15 minutes. When we came out the line was much longer.
We went there today. Even for one free the wait was not worth it.

We got there about 9:30 AM planning to get out of there before lunch to go to our hotel for pool time and we did not get to our table until 10:40 AM.

When we got our table they had just opened the "back room" which was empty except for a few people just seated.

I complained to the manager asking why would they keep that room closed until 10:30 and he said he did not know it would be busy, but it was due to 241 etc. I said that is not a surprise it is Wed.

Our waitress was nice and explained many people are on their breaks until 10:30 and therefore they are short servers until after 10:30AM.

The food was good as usual but we really wasted an hour.

The line was moving along slowly until about 10:10 AM and then only about 4-6 people were admitted before 10:25. Then it picked up again (after they opened the room).

I also found out there was only one "hostess" seating people until 10:30. Anyone who knows that place knows they need more than 1 person seating everybody. Even the Platinum line had a long line at times due to the lone hostess.

I will not go back even with one free as it is just not worth it to me there are plenty of 241 coupons in MRB and elsewhere. It was just too inefficient and frustrating. Many others complained as well about it. Maybe it was just a bad day, but I do not think so. I could tell they did not really care and they heard it before...

I was going to play there a little, but we just left. Keep people on line for the buffet instead of letting them loose in the casino must be their motto there.

Thanks, V

Doesn't sound very promising....I hate waiting in line.

Anyone else have any comments? I leave for Vegas on Saturday.

We went on March 16th at around 12:30PM and waited just over an hour. I knew the wait would be long so I was not disappointed, but I thought the overall quality has suffered in comparison to our last visit in December 2010.
We were there on the 23rd. of March. We waited about 10-15 minutes for dinner around 4:30 pm. We had a 2-1 coupon in the mail, plus myself and my wife our over 50. So we got one free, the other one 50% off. The bill for the two of us was something like $12.95 total! Great deal, great buffet
Just an update

I've just returned last week from LV.....went to M for lunch about 1:20 pm on Wednesday. It took us about 35 minutes to be seated. Not horrible and worth the wait....food was extra good this time.
We went on March 30th at about 1:30, and the line wasn't that bad..........we waited only about 20 minutes, though we were able to use the vip line since my Mom uses a walker and they let handicapped people get in the VIP Comp line. The regular line didn't look that bad though, not quite half of area where the line is roped off was full ........... I would recommend trying it; the food was great. And if there is more than one of you, you can take turns in the line until you get to the front to make the time go by faster.......
