M Resort 50 plus club Wednesdays Studio B buffet question

My last trip several months ago, a friend on mine and I took advantage of M's Wednesday promo for a 2/1 lunch buffet on Wednesdays for their over 50 yr old club members. It was strictly a cash transaction, no points involved.

In looking at the M website, I believe I'm seeing they've changed their policy. Website states "STUDIO B BUFFET. Half price with your points for Breakfast and Lunch on Wednesdays!"

I'm taking this to mean that you HAVE to pay with points earned, not a cash alternative.

Anyone confirm this or set me straight or am I just reading this wrong?

I'm leaving for LV in a month and am trying to set up an itinerary.

I would think so too but I'm not an expert, I'm just a customer-- Stations does this on a regular basis
