Major change in the nature of the buffet experience

I had breakfast at the Palms A.Y.C.E. Buffet today.  No more take-my-own!  The ladles and tongs are on the opposite side of the trays, and we're obliged to wait to be served random amounts of the foods that appeal.  It doesn't work well from either side.  I know about the MGM buffet and restaurant closures, but we'll have to see how far this particular adjustment spreads.

I went back this afternoon and they've put everything right again.  Still not at all crowded!

Is the Palms hotel open???
