The Market - downtown

I happened upon a recently opened grocery store while heading east on Fremont street toward the El Cortez. There is a small selection of fresh vegetables and fruit plus some canned goods at what appeared to be reasonable prices. Coffee, grab and go meals, fresh salads, sandwiches and baked goods all looked good. You can dine in or at tables immediately outside the door.

The locals are complaining that it's too fancy and too expensive. We're talking about neighborhood folk, who are not exactly hitting it. I think it's a great resource for out-of-towners staying Downtown. I really like Downtown, and the East Side is turning into something of a hipster paradise. Many restaurants, attractions, etc.

I was afraid that this might end up being the case. But I'll try to check it out next week when I may be there.
