Any recommendations for the best place to eat Mexican Food in Vegas?

Local Joints:

El Sombrero (oldest restaurant in Vegas)
Lindo Michoacan
Los Antojos (reviewed in current LVA)
Los Molcajetes
Dona Maria for tamales (haven't been in years, but was a standard stop for me two decades ago)
Carlito's

Casinos:

Border Grill (restaurant.com coupons, Mandalay Bay)
the place in Orleans (standard American style Mexican)
Garduno's

Garduno's at Fiesta Rancho is better than Garduno's at the Palms.

I like Casa Cocina at the Cannery. Cabo is good, too (Aliante Station, Santa Fe, and I think it's at Red Rock, too, but I'm not sure).

Border Grill - Mandalay Bay is pretty good.

Depends on where you are:

Airport - Carlito's Burritos
Strip - Tacos El Gordo
Downtown - Casa Don Juan or Mundo
Neighborhood -Michoacan
North Las Vegas - Leticia's Mexican Cocina

Best? Can we start with style? You want avant Mex or Sonoran-border? Cal-Mex or Yucatan? Etc.

TB and zamiel both have some good options on their lists.

Ken, remember several years ago when I asked the same question of someone who wanted "authentic" Mexican food and some other person got pissy and sarcastic over my question?

So, I don't ask anymore. I just throw out the options.

My vote is: Casa Don Juan (near downtown)

I'm always amazed by those reactions. Someone who thinks Mex is a plate of something doused in sauce and cheese is going to go batshitz if you send 'em off for cochinita pibil.
