Milos almost shutdown by DOH

Milos racked up 40 demerits during a health inspection on March 1, just one point from being shutdown.

Note: restaurant received 0 demerits on a March 12th re-inspection.

Do it. I ate there on Monday and it was fabulous.

Edited to add: You will want to make reservations. The place was packed on Monday. I called from McCarren to make a rez. It was my first stop in town.

I agree with the above..............It is fantastic.

It is a must for every trip with us. They have changed the menu and reduced the portion sizes for the lunch special from when they first opened but it is still more than enough and excellent.

going in May...I've put Milo's off on 2 trip's now (sept and oct). The Boyfriend will need to skip Ellis Island one time... sheeeshh. The food isn't that great! He is a rib junkie..and loves that BQ. I could pass 4sure..

Ok, took everyones advice and booked Milos for lunch on Friday the 13th.
Hope that is not an omen.
