New Kosher Dairy Restaurant In Las Vegas Next To Jerusalem Restaurant

Hey Group,

I just found out about another Kosher restaurant opening up. This one is a Dairy one and it's right next door to and it's owned by the people who also own Jerusalem Restaurant (which is in the mini-mall at Flamingo And Decatur).

It's Called "Nina's Cafe" and its open from 9AM-9PM (I'm sure Sunday through Thursday). They serve Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner as well as Sushi.

They are working on getting up a new website. Their phone number is 702-659-7776 and their website address is: https://www.ninascafelv.com.

I see that they even serve Westie's favorite thing "Huevos Rancheros," so check it out!

I can tell you that from what I'm seeing from the website, the prices there are not inexpensive, but it could be very good.

Thanks for the information Rec, but Kosher huevos rancheros? Nina's version is actually an omelet
and at $14.99, very much on the pricey side. BTW - the owners describe the restaurant as
being Italian Kosher.

FWIW - Las Cazuelas will likely be the purveyor of my next huevos rancheros @ a more affordable $5.50.

You're very welcome, Westie!

The Kosher part of Kosher Huevos Rancheros is not only the Dairy that's involved, but also the Eggs are very carefully checked for Blood Spots (since Jews are not to come in contact with Blood in food). For example, Kosher Cheese uses Vegetable Enzymes instead of Animal Enzymes (Rennet).

For people who do keep Kosher (follow Jewish Dietary Laws), Dairy is not just all the same -- there is an issue with what's in the Dairy (such as non-Kosher enzymes).

I myself like the prices at Huntridge Soda Fountain much better, but I want to give people more options on where to eat.
