Oysters

SP smoking isn't a problem as not that many people smoke.

Jyst stay away from the few smokers and you won't even notice.

Thank you everyone, we will make a stop at one of these places. I would like to do South Point as never been there, but from what has been posted about the smoke level at the place that might point my wife to a different direction. 46 days and counting.

The smoking level overall is insane, but what really stinks (literally) is the profusion of horrid cigar smokers. Since both the oyster bar and the coffee shop aren't walled off from the casino, they both are subject to the stink clouds. The buffet can also be affected, especially if you sit toward the front. That's why when I'm there, I eat at Primarily Prime Rib (upstairs), the steak house (walled in), or Zenshin (in one isolated corner of the casino).

I tried to think of a time of day when those cigar pigs aren't so prolific, but the sad truth is, my last half dozen visits were at varying times, and each time, I had to change machines multiple times just to get away from the stench.

Southpoint is almost as smoky as the old downtown joints - the only time I'll bother playing there is early in the morning.

I've always thought it was peculiar how stinky it is in there, since it's not as close and crowded as the downtown joints, and it was built relatively recently, so you'd expect it ti have a good, modern ventilation system. Maybe it's just the sheer profusion of smokers. People with addictions and weaknesses (gambling) tend to have others as well (smoking),

It's a shame as far as I'm concerned, because the constant stink has kept me away from a place I would otherwise frequent quite often.
