Palace Station Burger Mistake

I had to post to warn people not to do what I did. I saw the sign out front advertising $3.99 bacon cheeseburger and fries. Hungry for lunch I took my wife inside and found the resteraunt. We were told the "special" was only good if you bought a drink...ok it didn't say that on the sign, but at least the waiter said it first thing...add $2.25 for tea, and pepsi (no coke)......they brought us the most GOD AWEFULL NASTY burger I have ate in years...it was a soyburger the kind that comes frozen in boxes of 1000 from some third world country. It was the thickness of 2-3 quarters stacked, came on a slightly toasted (but weirdly ice cold) bun, and if i wasnt starving I would have took a bite and laughed at them as I left.

Do not fall for the advertised special---- total cost after tax & tip $15 for a couple of burgers that will live on for years as a bad memory. I don't think I will ever go to another station casino...EVER, just so I can try and forget that burger!!!!
Ewww
Awful experience. Sorry you had to suffer through it.
A quick trip to In N Out would at least get the taste back in your mouth.

Thanks for the heads up. I am sure you saved a few people from gastric indigestion.

This math doesn't work for me.

Also, the online ad for this deal does say, in tiny type, that purchase of a beverage is required.

Nevertheless, sorry for the bad burger.

Whew, glad somebody tried this before me. I was actually thinking of stopping by GVR for one of these burgers on the way home tonight.

Had a burger last night at one of the new WildBurgers (located in some Wildfire properties - went to the Boulder Wildfire), and honestly, it was one of the best burgers I've had in years. Perfectly cooked, with blue cheese and bacon. Probably going back for another one this weekend.
Wish that I had read this before getting one at Red Rock for my 3 year old. Even he wouldn't eat it. This is the worst Station's promotion since "Guaranteed Play" video poker.

prefect, years ago (before Denny's) Wildfire used to serve up a fantastic burger. Glad to hear that they got their game back since giving Denny's the boot. Hopefully we will see a return of that Wildfire burger coupon in next year's MRB.
