Palms buffet any thoughts?

Heading out west in 3 days. I purchased 3 $25.00 restaurant.com coups for $10.00 each to use at the Palms buffet. Seemed like a good move at the time and a better return than the 50% MRB coup ( which I also have 2 of).

I looked at their website and noticed they had crab legs. There is also a Friday seafood price so I assumed that that was the only night that the legs were served. TodAy I read on another post that they had crab legs on Monday. Soooo I thought I would ask my LVA family if any of them can confirm what the Palms spread looks like? Did I mention that I love crab legs ??

I don't imagine that the buffet is more than $25.00 bucks so I'm getting it for 10! My first 5 days ill be in Vegas by myself so buffets are my fave meal!!

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!
Champ: some months the buffet lowers all of their prices for card holders, so look for that first. Also, as recently as April, they had entertainment at the buffet (guy with a guitar channeling Tim McGraw). Not sure about the crab legs as, though I like the meat, I'm too lazy to work at dinner!
That said, I like it for the variety of foods, particularly unusual things you don't find at a buffet at that price level - the menu changes often enough so that what I saw in April you most likely won't see in August. But hey, fill up on the things you like and don't take the things you hate.
And hey, it included beer or wine, so my recollection may be somewhat tainted ...

So are you saying that you had a drink or 2???

Good feedback buddy!!!

T- 2 days.....19 hours ....... 5 mins till......VEGAS!!!

Dude, it's unlimited. Who am I to turn them down?

Champ,

Check the terms and on your restaurant.com certificate - most of the time you have to spend a minimum $35 to $50 in order to use a $25 certificate - it's not just a $25 value certificate (like a gift card would be).

Sorry to rain on your parade.

I tried to look it up on r.com but they don't have that one available anymore for me to check.

The good news is you can exchange them very easily. They will just put a credit out on your account that you can use for future purchases.

The 50% off may end up being a better value afterall. Without being able to see your minimum spend to use the $25 certificates, I can't calculate the benefits.

Please report back on the crab leg (and overall buffet situation), please! Our group LOVES crab legs and this is currently pencilled in for an upcoming trip, but not set in stone yet.

Thanks - have a great trip!

Cheers,
Deanna
I hope you are wrong. The seafood buffet is 25.99 and I'm looking at paying an additional 99 cents when I present my coup. Ill know in less than 2 days!!

Keeping fingers crossed. Coups are sitting on my desk at work so I'm keeping fingers crossed!

Do what you do buddy!!!! Sorry that I'm gonna miss you this week. I'll be back October 9th (for 7 days). Maybe we can catch the Bills beating up on the Bengals and the 49er's squeaking by the Cardinals!

Good news and bad news. The good news is I bought a $25.00 gift cert (restaurant.com) to Simons Restaurant at the Palms (not the buffet) for $6.00. The coup says that I have to spend 37.50 total (you were right deanna). So its my 6 plus at least 12.50 more for a meal. A $18.50 investement is worth $37.50 so 50% exactly like my Palms coup in the MRB.

Bad news is that my Palms buffet coups are worth $15.00 (not $25.00) and they cost me $3.60 each. It says that I have to spend at least 22.50 on the coup. So the Seafood buffet (which is $25.99) will cost me an additional $10.99. Total cost is $14.59 for a $25.99 meal ( I save 42%)

Oh well...In 1 day and 5 hours and 5 mins Ill be headed to..........VEGAS!!!!!
