Palms buffet any thoughts?

As to the quality of the Palms buffet, I don't think it's one of the best in Vegas. I'm a vegetarian, and for me, it's terrible; there's almost nothing I can eat. I recently went with a non-vegetarian friend, and they liked it, especially the Asian section. You do get free wine with the meal. The desserts are awful, but that's true at all but the best buffets in Vegas. The buffet dining area is noisy and crowded, and the seating is cramped. I wouldn't go back, but many people like it.
Wow. Sounds like " some yes, some say no, I tend to agree"!!

Thanks for the feedback. I'm an avid meateater and will check it out at least once this weekend. If it does t work then ill give the other 2 $15.00 coups to my children so they can use them when they visit in October!

T- 7 hours and 23 minutes till. Vegas baby!!!!
Please send a FOOD trip report...
We went in Dec and my husband loved the buffet.
I liked everything including the service EXCEPT the desserts did not wow me...
I know there are a lot of "sugarfree" diet issues in the world but found too many and not enough regular pie!!!
There were crab legs, it was a Sat night.....
I agree it probably changes by season.
I used the 2/1 but would like more info on how the restaurant.com works.

mo
Champ..... I have tried the Palms buffet on both the Friday night and a Monday night. From what I recall, the menu for dinner was almost identical. The only thing that I recall was that there may have deleted one or two seafood dishes on the Monday. But, both nights had crab legs. (I like crab legs, but to me, it's almost too much work for what you get). Regardless, I felt that the buffet was pretty decent as I used a 50% coupon on both nights.

Check the terms and on your restaurant.com certificate - most of the time you have to spend a minimum $35 to $50 in order to use a $25 certificate - it's not just a $25 value certificate (like a gift card would be).

Sorry to rain on your parade.

I tried to look it up on r.com but they don't have that one available anymore for me to check.

The good news is you can exchange them very easily. They will just put a credit out on your account that you can use for future purchases.

The 50% off may end up being a better value afterall. Without being able to see your minimum spend to use the $25 certificates, I can't calculate the benefits.

Please report back on the crab leg (and overall buffet situation), please! Our group LOVES crab legs and this is currently pencilled in for an upcoming trip, but not set in stone yet.

Thanks - have a great trip!

Cheers,
Deanna

Also restaurants.com gift certificates require a mandatory 18% tip - which kinda dilutes its value in buffet.
In my experience, they have dropped the 18% mandatory gratuity for most restaurants. If you peruse the list online and check the terms and conditions, that's now longer on there. At least the ones in my local area and the ones I have looked at for Vegas.

YMMV.

Cheers,
Deanna
