Palms dining

I would like to use my Palms MRB coupon at the Palms the week of 1/12 and am undecided between Simons and Lao Sze Chuan (the Asian restaurant). I know their menus are very different, but I was hoping someone had dined at both or either and might elaborate on their experience. Thanks
Bob
Glad you asked, because I, also, am trying to decide where to use mine.
Oh well... No responses yet and I leave tomorrow a.m. Trip Advisor rates Lao etc. pretty high. Will check them both out, opt for one, and try to provide some input on my return.

Nove. Nice view, nice vacation-like atmosphere at a reasonable price with coupon.

Just returned from Vegas. We used our Palms MRB at Lao Sze Chuan, and we were not disappointed. It's a beautiful place. The menu is extensive and almost unbelievably reasonably priced. The waiter was very helpful and attentive. The two of us on one coupon had two appetizers each and two entrees. Everything was delicious. The bill came to $61 including tax.......minus 50% brought it down to around $30 without the tip. There were four in our party, and we used two MRB coupons - no problem for the waiter. Our next trip will definitely include a stop at Lao Sze Chuan.
Thanks for following up with report and a strong recommendation. What did you order?

This recently opened restaurant is located in the space formerly occupied by Little Buddah. The room is now more open and brighter than in the past.

A spicy cabbage salad was delivered to our table while we reviewed the menu.

We started off with shrimp spring rolls that were light and tasty. For entrees we chose sole filets in a fresh black bean sauce plus the chef's special chili chicken.

There was an exceptionally long delay between courses so our waitress brought us a second dish of cabbage salad and eventually comped us desserts. The chicken dish was a crunchy delight though not nearly as spicy as one would believe given the quantity of red chili on the plate. The sole was tender and equally delicious. Prices are moderate for a casino restaurant and entrees are generously portioned.

Our individual cheesecakes, though hardly Asian, almost brought one senior to tears.

On entering I had secured a grand opening card from the hostess that was good for 25% off menu prices through October 15th. ($33.45, 4 Forks) Note: rating downgraded 0.5 Forks due to the kitchen back-up
I was going to use mine at the 24-7 cafe as they used to have a very large menu and a steak/double lobster tail that was awesome. Went there yesterday to find their menu is now only 2 pages long (single double sided paper) with a very limited section we did not waste the coupon!!
