Pink's hot dogs?

Anybody try the Pink's Hot Dog joint in Vegas ? or anywhere else?

Yelp seems to give them mixed reviews. Trying to decide if its worth a visit next trip
Thanks
I do know that the original Pink's location in Los Angeles always has a line of people in front of it whenever I drive by it but since it's not Kosher, I have not been there.

And in the Huell Howser Archives (which comes through https://blogs.chapman.edu/huell-howser-archives), you should be able to see a show about Pink's that he did and then revisited them in I think 2010. They even named a Hot Dog after him.

I tried to keep my mouth shut on this one, but I just couldn't. Really, a hot dog is a hot dog is a hot dog. In 30 yrs of visiting LV , on average about 3 times a year, I've eaten exactly one hot dog. I was staying at Lady Luck and walked by their super big hot dogs in the cart on my way to the room. I think I paid 75 cents for it. It was good but I wouldn't walk 10 steps out of the way to get one, no matter what the brand or the price.
Still . . . that's one more hot dog than I've ever had slices of pizza in LV. There are just too many good foods to be found that I can't get back here in the Midwest to waste my valuable time on food that I can get at home.

I don't particularly like to eat heavy, so when in Vegas I do a lot of hot dogs, etc. Just a bite to tide me over until the next bite hours later. I eat dogs from everywhere, including the $3 beer and a dog, sports books, etc. Every now and then I find one I don't like, but for the most part, most are ok to good.

We bought a groupon for Pink's last year where you got $20 of food for $10. I had a THREE DOG NIGHT, which was three dogs wrapped in a tortilla with cheese, bacon, chili, and cheese. I ate about half of it and that was about all I could take. Its a shame because I was really looking forward to trying it, even having scoped out the menu before we left. Perhaps I got to ambitious with their menu....should have maybe stuck with something more tame and traditional....a basic chili dog, etc. It wasn't bad but I left feeling a little sickish.

I would considering trying it again with a basic dog, but the last two times I've had American Coney at the D, which I like a lot.

Have eaten there a couple of times. Had Mushroom and Swiss. I think they are overpriced for the quality of the dog. The only thing they have is what you can add. Nathans has a much better dog. You don't get all the add-ons but the dog is much better and costs a lot less. They are even a lot of 2for coupons for Nathans.
Thanks for the info. Doesn;t sound like I should go out of my way for it. If I happen to be in Planey Ho around lunchtime I might give it a try,
I wasn't impressed and I agree they are overpriced.

I think Pink's hot dogs are good, but not good enough to go out of my way for.

I agree, it's just a hot dog.
I've eaten at the Pink's at Red Rock and on the Strip. I think they taste good but are overpriced. I've eaten at the American Coney Island at the D and also think it's overpriced.
