Prime Rib

I will be returning to Vegas in July after a long dry period. So I am a little out of the loop on current trends. Looking for good Prime Rib dinner. Both on the strip and downtown. I have seen Binions mentioned for downtown but not sure if we will make it there, but if the LVA coupon makes it worth the effort, just might have to. Thanks for any info
What price range are you looking for?

Prime Rib Loft at the Orleans is one of my favorites. Prime Rib Entree's will cost you between $20-$30. Then figure in your appetizers/wine/deserts etc.

Good cheap prime ribs can be found at diners downtown....California, El Cortez, and Four Queens have decent ones for $10 or less.

Then there are the dirt cheap prime ribs. $7 out at the Skyline way out on Boulder Highway. Its actually not too bad.
Not a meal for an anniversary for sure but try Silver Sevens for a value buster. Try the $9.99 half off w/ ACG coupon if your solo. Save double that by busting the full BOGO value and bringing a friend. Must have A play slot card and ACG coupon to dazzle the value hunters.

P.S. The ACG BOGO coupon for the breakfast or lunch buffet is an amazing value as well (different ACG coupon). Not high end but not bottom of the barrel. Full solo lunch buffet OTD price is $3.78 w/ACG coup . If there's two of you then your out the door for $&.56 tax included plus tip. It's OK. but it's an awesome value! Your results may vary!
The webpage below covers a wide variety of Las Vegas Prime Rib spots (prices may be up by a buck since they put the webpage up).

Prime Rib

Also last time I was at the Palms at the 24/7 Cafe they had an excellent prime rib special for either $8.95 or $9.95 including sides.

Also Number 9 of the LVA Top Ten Values indicates:

9. Prime Rib - Hooters - Daily - $2.48-$7.48

The discounted prices of the Hooters prime rib special (#9), served 5-11 pm in the Mad Onion, are reached by using available new-member club sign-up bonuses and an ongoing matchplay offer for diners.

In the April newsletter, LVA mentioned the prime rib special at Planet Dailies at the PHo. We went last week. They have an 8 oz cut for $9.99 and a 16 oz. cut for $14.99. I opted for the 16 oz. It came with a great salad, baked potato, mixed grilled vegies, and probably the WORST meat I've had in a long time. I ate half, only because I was starving. Very tough--even the lip was tough and that is usually the most tender part of the cut.

My advice? Run far and run fast.

You must have been there the same day we were, at Planet Dailies! Yep, it was terrible. The sad thing about it that we have been before and the prime rib was absolutely delicious, so tender you didn't even need a knife to cut it! I don't know if it is the way it's cooked or the cook but this trip was a total bust, very disappointing after experiencing such good meals there in the past!
I also like the food @ South Point. Think their Prime Rib joint is very good. Wait manageable and good value.
