Rao's or Carmine's

Has anyone dined at either of these two?

Ate at Carmines in AC a few times. Food was very good. Just remember that dishes are ment to be shared.

We ate at Carmines in AC a couple yrs ago and at Rao's in Vegas last month. I think food taste and quality is better at Rao's. Would not choose to go back to Carmines. To be honest, I prefer humble Maggiano's over either of them!

Ate at Rao's each of the last 2 visits. Outstanding! Ordered their meatballs as an appetizer. My Mother-in -Law is Sicilian and i didn't think anyone could match her meatballs but, they came as close any anyone before.
Going to Vegas this Oct and will be back again. Portions are very large and they aren't cheap. I have eaten at Carmines in Chicago but not sure they are connected. It wasn't as good as Rao's.
