Thanks! I guess it won't happen this time - Canadians can't register on line - we have to call and have them mailed - and I'm going this week.
Maybe try it for Christmas though.

It is unfortunate that someone gave you the wrong information. In the past customer service people at restaurant.com have told people to use their zip code in Illinois (e.g. 60004). You then can print the coupons off from your computer. There is no tie in between your credit card and the zip code. I know many of our Canadian/UK friends continue to use restaurant.com without having to have the certificates mailed to them.

You are welcome. FYI - A change in restaurant.com's exchange policy that I recently discovered may be of interest to you. If you decide for whatever reason that you don't want to use a particular certificate, you can request an exchange for an eGift card or a restaurant gift certificate of similar denomination.
