Okada is one of our favorites. They removed the tasting menu from the menu many years ago when they met resistance from many diners who would order it only to balk at the time it took. Many had show reservations, which they didnt tell their server, and then would get anxious at the pacing which, like for any good tasting menu, is leisurely and designed to allow you to savor each course.

That having been said if you ASK they will do a tasting menu for you. Pair it with not a wine pairing but a wine/sake pairing for a unique experience. It is pricey but amazing.
