This is very helpful as I am interested in going to Vegas. There are a lot of places that are good there but these reviews are helpful as I am going to these places soon. Also great to see that a lot of the stores are named because of the the 'Sin City' nickname.

I'm going to Las Vegas soon and try to play there, because that's what is famous the right? I have no plans today on where I can eat so this was very helpful to me. Hope to try some or all of this and eat there. I hope I like how it will taste.

Westie IS the person with the good places to eat> he and his wife really travel around to eat! 

 Never discount his and Ann's ratings. Some dishes that they order is way wild and unpronouncable.

OK, so here is a question for Westie:

It appears that these "Restaurant Reviews" are linked (and thanks, Westie, for doing that) from the eateries' own web sites and certain other reviewers' opinions (for which I'll assume they get paid to submit to a publication). 

I've always considered Westie's own in person, 'like-dislike-meh' meal details, (and his own  photos!) to have a more robust trust factor.  His "forks up" ratings are legendary. 

Westie, am I wrong?  Do you post these website links after you have eaten 'there' and deem the offerings worthy enough to recommend?

Candy - The reviews for the past 2 years or so have been primarily from Dr. Uzmann's blog (endoedibles) though John Curtas will post one on his (eatinglv) and there is a monthly one from villagevoice. It is shear coincidence when I have eaten at any of them. There used to be more sources for reviews but the LVRJ (Heidi Rinella) stopped reviewing restaurants a few years back and most of the monthly periodicals have ceased operations. 

So, Westie, again, when you post these Restaurant Reviews, you've not necessarily eaten at any of them yourself?
