For those who don't know Irene's, it is a small video poker bar on west Spring Valley. It has a kitchen you access thru a window from the bar, They have a great ham steak b'fast for $7. It is the plate-sized piece of ham you used to get at other places (AC, etc), eggs to order, potatos, toast.
Coffee you get at the bar and putting $5 in the VP while you await the meal get's the coffee free. The VP isn't too bad. I put in the $5, took out $200 in 3 minutes. Great breakfast at a profit.
The Flame at EC downtown never disapppoints. The lamb and steaks are great. Try the garbage salad and share a large baked potato
