Silverton Buffet

This is the best buffet value in Las Vegas. During two twelve day trips in May and again in June we ate at Silverton 6 times on each trip. Their Sat and Sun brunch is only a few dollars more than Green Valley Ranch and Red Rock Station, but Silverton also offers the best tasting medium rare prime rib, hot and cold crab claws (they tasted fresh, not salty and mushy like Rio's Carnival and Rio's Seafood buffets), lox, good sushi (including eel) and much more. Their desserts are minimal, but we go for the food, not desserts. The service was very good on all visits. Drinks were promptly refilled and the dirty dishes were quickly removed. On one of the Sundays were went to Green Valley Ranch for brunch. We checked the food out before we paid, the selection was so dismal and the place was so crowded we decided to go to Silverton. Even with the 2 for 1 at GVR, it wasn't worth it. Silverton also has a great Polynesian night on Thursdays. Again they had great prime rib, baked pig, kalua pig, lau laus, sushi, and a bunch of other great Polynesian type food. This was our favorite buffet. On Friday, they have an excellent seafood buffet with great prime rib, hot and cold crab claws, xlnt salmon and other tasty seafood items.
Not sure it's the best value in las vegas but a glowing review none the less!
Thanks for the update. We use to like it for Saturday and Sunday brunch too but if they have replaced their crab legs with crab claws I'll probably pass it upi n favor of the Rio.
I meant to say crab legs, not crab claws.
