Where is the best place to get Soul Food?

Two places I highly recommend.

1. Seoul Kwan on Spring Mountain Road near Decatur on the west side.

2. Seoul Korean BBQ on Sahara, a mile west of Las Vegas Blvd.

Nothing fancy, but food is good.

LOL.

The Roadkill Cafe is a BBQ place started by a family from the deep south. Its been on the Diners-n-Dives show on Food Network. Ive never been but am going to try it in Decemeber. Their side dishes look authetic and delish.

for a more toursity soul food experience you can try the House Of blues on the strip. The atmosphere is better than the food...but its still good

Thanks for the information. I also googled "Soul Food" and came up with M&M Soul Food. Has anyone tried their food?

It has been a bit over 2 years since our visit and I keep promising myself to return in order to try their weekend-only seafood gumbo. Here is my TR write-up:

"We received complimentary cornbread pancakes – delicious. Each of us ordered fried chicken as an entree with me choosing dark meat and Ann white. Mine was moist and delicious; Ann’s was dry. I enjoyed the crispy crust, Ann didn’t. Each came with a choice of 3 sides. Together we sampled macaroni and cheese (3), green beans (1), collard greens (4), fried okra (3) and sweet potatoes (3.5)."

My wife and I just went to Ella M's this past Saturday on Craig and loved it. It's a meat and 3 which also includes cornbread. The portions were huge and the prices were too low for what you get. We will be back often!!

I will give it a try the next time I'm in town
