South Point Steak Night Buffet

Monday night is steak night. Has anyone eaten there on a Monday and can you give me some info on the "steaks"? Are they real steaks or tiny overcooked things that no one would care about? If they are decent, is it one per person or can you have as many as you like?

As I recall, you could have more than one, but that was last January. I go to the MidAmerica Vintage Motorcycle auction and dirt track races at the South Point every year for about 8 years (or as long as they have had the event there.) The buffet is decent and since I stay there, eat at the buffet a number of times. Nothing remarkable but solid decent food and quality, clean and an excellent wait staff. You could do much worse than the Point at other places and I've stayed and eaten at most. Find the South Point a good overall destination.

Yes you can get more than one steak, they are OK, small strip steaks but tasty. Time it right when they come off the grill so they are hot and done to your preference.

Actually, after reading your post, jogged my memory, and I do have the prime rib and not the steak and very much enjoy it. Have to get out more often....

At a buffet? I would doubt it.

no way on the "best steak" by a long shot. But, the prime is very tasty and the steaks are constantly being added to the buffet....rare/med/well. Good value, esp with the 2/1 that you get in the coupon pack when you stay there.
