Soy Free Restaurants HELP

I'm off for a short trip next weekend to Las Vegas and I have my friend who is allergic to Soy. Does anyone know of restaurants that are soy free in Las Vegas? Will have a car so location isn't a problem, we know all the usual chains, but I wanted him to have dinner somewhere that he usually doesn't get to when he's at home in LA.
Any help or suggestions would be great.

Had no idea that avoiding soy was a difficult problem. Stick with steak houses and avoid restaurants that serve Asian food such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, etc. When in doubt, ask what the ingredients are.

"Soy" is in many foods, not just Asian.

How does your friend handle this allergy at home? What are tricky foods he has to avoid?

He usually cooks everything himself. I think we will do buffets for 2 meals okay if he bbrings his own salad dressing and bread and we'll do steak for dinner Saturday night. That seems like the best options.
Places I called were the bacchanel buffet, Vegas Kitchen and Pampas all use vegtable oil. I also called Gordon Ramseys Pub but they left me on hold for 20 minutes so I hung up on them.
I'm thing Bouchon for bread and pastries and Walmart for litehouse dressing.

Most restaurants take food allergies very seriously these days. When in doubt ask for the manager. My friend's son can not eat at Burger King, because there is soy added to the meat patties.

Gosh, I did a web search, and it is mind-boggling, the multiple uses of soy in food products. I don't envy anyone challenged with soy allergy.

As Orchid mentioned, it is used as a meat extender, hence the use of it in fast food burger places. Soy flour is commonly used in bread products. Cooking oils, another potential problem, as many contain soy. I read that some places mix soy products in with their pasta to keep it from sticking!

Many gluten free options do not contain soy, although there might be soy on the property.
