Speaking of Noir.............Pinot Noir........served in any casinos?

I love wine, but I'm not a fan of ordering varietals on casino floors. I'm sure if you are playing in a high limit area that you'll have not only variety, but some decent juice as well. The fate of us unwashed masses isn't as good. I'm sure most Chard is either Ernie and his bro's house white or some fine Glen Ellen at best! I like the Mermaid lounge at Silverton as you can see the label being poured. Same for Shady Grove. Not great wines, but ok. If I can't see it, I don't want it. As to Pinots, aside from restaurants, you don't see them much.

Good Luck!

I'm a little confused, if you don't order varietal do you just say white, red or pink?

Know you go to Reno a lot, CLV. Ferrari-Carano is the house wine at Silver Legacy. Know that's not Silver Oak, but certainly beats Chateau Kool-Aid.
Thanks for the input everybody.........

I was also told Bartops was the way to go for anything other
than Cab or Merlot on the casino floor.........but honestly, I don't play bartops.......
well unless theres a Huge Prog., then I might make an exception. lol

Thanks for Reno tease Ken. Yes, going up there for New Years. Forgot about F-Carano.
I met one of the Carano's who indeed brought us their own wine.........years ago, we
were up there with some higher-rollers than Us.
Had some very good wine, and great treatment that trip. LOL

Doubt Carano will be serving little ol' Me at El Dorado, but I'll do a driveby and seeeeeeeee.
Thanks, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year soon!
I just got home from a quickie trip to the Aria. I asked the cocktail waitress if they served pinot noir and she said yes. It was decent and served in proper stemware. I'll definitely go back now that I know they serve it in the casino.

Now, Thats what I'm talkin' bout! Thanks desertflower. Kudos to Aria

Desertflower.........meant to tell you I'm staying at Aria Next Thurs & Fri nite, so will ask for Noir! Thx.

Also, funny little story.........before Christmas I was going to have dinner with my Realtor friend Robin.
(yes, the Top 10 Real estate values gal from LVA)
Anyway, I was playing in the casino, and told her where to find me.........ordered a glass of wine while I was waiting......and hoping the Cocktail waittress would bring it soon..........

Robin texted me again, "Where are you again?

I told her "By the big slot sign, I'm waiting for wine........."

When Robin finally found me, she was carrying a Wine tote for me and asked.......
"How did you know I was bringing you wine?"
