Special dinner

I'll second Nove especially if you use the 50% coupon.
Comme Ca (come Sa) on the strip has a pretty good deal on the Grope-on

I would second Comme Ca. It has wonderful food. Nice service and view overlooking the strip. find a deal on groupon or other site and it is a heck of deal. Also if you go there using a special offer such as groupon they don't make you feel like a cheapo.

Agreed. Dress the part and heavy hand the grat! Communicating with the manager (not just the reception desk). Do a little homework and you can own the restaurant for a night. Also, the may have a matre'D. Wink wink. Palm, palm. It could make the difference between night and day. :-)

Mr. Dewey, I'll add that to my list!
I'll second Lisa's two recommendations - Todd's Unique and Eiffel Tower restaurant.

If food is the prime reason to go and you have a car, I'd say try Todd's (atmosphere is nice but nothing special). Ask for a table (the booths are not comfortable). We were really impressed with the food.

If atmosphere and etc are more important, Eiffel Tower wins hands down. Reservations for two for special occasions are almost always seated at small tables right by the windows overlooking the Bellagio fountains. If hubby tells them it's your birthday they will also provide a dozen red roses on the table which you can take home. I was surprised that the roses didn't really cost much more than they would have at the florist, and they also made a great impression on my wife! The food here is great but expensive, by all means try a souffle for dessert. It's more impressive after dark, which means late if you're going in summer. We went in January, and it was obviously dark by 7 pm.

Whatever you decide, let us all know when you get back!

I've been leaning more towards the Eiffel Tower but Circo @ BELLAGIO has our interest piqued too. I guess I need to make up my mind soon, it's a month away!
The Eiffel Tower is my choice. We have eaten there twice & found the food & service excellent.
However, it is expensive. But, it is a special occasion.
How about Oscar's Steakhouse at the Plaza? Great food, nice ambiance, and great view of fremont street lights. Happy Birthday !!!!!
No one has mentioned Golden Steer on Sahara just west of the strip.I have not eaten there yet,but it getts high marks on this forum. It is an old school type steakhouse.
