We were at Austin's back in August, it was very good, maybe the best of the mid-range places that I've been to. Andiamo at The D was fantastic as well, probably our favorite downtown steak now, although Redwood Grill is pretty nice as well, and their porterhouse special is a great deal.
We were at Oscar's back in February, I think. Very good food and a really historic room (although the end of the zipline completely spoils the view). We had a big problem with them, though; the waitress exhausted our comp accounts, took about $220 for a $140 tab. I went back to get it fixed and the manager kept me waiting for about 40 minutes, couldn't find the tab to verify things and essentially called me a liar. It took over an hour to finally get it straightened out (an on-duty host fixed things and seemed really exasperated with the Oscar's manager). Pissed me off big-time, and after I got home I sent an email to the F&B manager about the whole fiasco, she sent a very cursory semi-apology and that was about it. So, it was a good meal but needless to say, I'm never going back.
