Sterling Brunch returns

We were there two years ago, I can't wait to see if anything has changed.
I have a reservation at the end of August. Also using my diamond renewal certificate to cover the charge. I'll write word upon my return in mid-Sept.

I'm going on Sunday morning. Will let all of you know my feelings, and how the food compares to last year when it was Ballys Steakhouse
Can't wait to hear the reviews. I have been to Vegas many times and never tried it but I made a reservation there for solo dining the last Sunday of my trip at the end of August!

Review???????
Hi All. Just back from a marvelous trip to LV, and it was this time last week that I ate at the (still) wonderful (now BLT) brunch. First, I can say that I like the old setting better, but many will like the openness and brightness of the new setting (as an aside, I did like the food area better, as the old area felt like it was set up in a hotel ballroom). Many/most of the Ballys Steakhouse staff remain, and the service continues to be impeccable (they not only keep your champagne flute filled....mine was filled many times, but they noticed when my napkin was dirty and quickly replaced it). In my estimation (with one exception), the food was better all around. Be advised that some food needs to be ordered from the kitchen (caviar, eggs benedict, lobster bisque) but the rest is on the buffet. I thought all of the seafood that I ate was better than it had been historically. Lobster was more tender, and crab legs seemed fresher. The signature omelet (lobster, cognac, boursin cheese) was to die for and tasted better than Ballys. Desserts and cheeses made a wonderful end to an amazing meal. My only criticism food wise was the lobster bisque. Historically, it was prepared table-side with the waiter putting hot lobster pieces and pouring the bisque over it. BLTs rendition was decent, but nary a lobster chunk. Small negative to a bunch of (in my estimation) overwhelming positives!! Enjoy....yes, it is still expensive $90/$85 with a TR card.
If i recall correctly, at the old steakhouse, the lobster bisque was served as described above. However, at the brunch, it was self serve, with no lobster to throw in.

Joy, you are right...I was mixing up what Ballys Steakhouse did for regular dinner with the lobster bisque (as described in my review above). The brunch was self-serve. Thanks for catching this!!
Either way, it's delish and rich.
Any more recent comments on the new Sterling Brunch. I have reservations for September 13. Thanks.
