Strat dinner show package

I love Top of The World restaurant at Strat

Before Covid could get a Groupon for $88.for one.

Not cheap yet better then price off menu.

Now The Strat offers dinner show package.

This is my second year to reserve. It can't be

done sooner then 30 days before preferred date.

The staff seem to be confused in booking.

Last year server at restaurant had to ask

supervisor about the set meal. Oh yes also

there is a charge to be seated near window.

Here I go again only because it's a special

place. Not many like it any more.

My hometown of San Francisco closed all.

Top of The Mark has cocktail lounge.Thats

about it.

I've only been once to Top of the World but I really enjoyed it.  I probably would feel underdressed since I'd be there during the day, and have shorts on.

Tommy

I do like to dress up once in a while.

A bit off topic, but Top of the Mark in SF was the first place I ever paid double digits for a cocktail. I was there for work about 30 years ago and stopped in for a drink. After the bartender served me, I laid a ten on the bar. I thought it was odd that he walked briskly past it several times. Eventually I said, "Hey, I'm ready to settle up". He said, "Yeah, thats not enough. It's twelve dollars."  Seems quaint now, but at the time I wanted to vom. Twelve dollars for one bourbon?!?

Yep Prices high for everything My surprise LasVegas Casinos.

if you don't catch a floor waitress for a comp drink Go to the bar

a simple drink cost me $10.

Well I went for the deal.

A little complicated-Have to get the restaurant

reservations first and pay the $25 per window seat at that time of reservation( no refund). Look up the deal, biggie limitation is no entre over $80 but glass of champagne, side and dessert(their choice) included.

Next call back down to show tickets reservations. Verify reservations from upstairs and then you can pick your seats for the show which includes good reserved seats but not up front. On the day of show go pay for everything at the ticket desk at the bottom of the tower $170 per person for show and dinner.Ok sounds like a lot. But a value over full price. First all taxes and tips are included(big savings). Compared to full price at the restaurant about 30% off.

Final bonus, starting at 4pm free tower access to the happy hour where

drinks are buy one get one free. View is out of this world if you go for the 5:30 dinner and 8:30 show with happy hour at 4:00 sunset and evening lights.

For a special occasion well worth it. I ran the numbers and this is $400 well cheaper that $600+ plus at full price. Dinner and a show and taxes and tips included.(plus what ever you drink at happy hour)
