Studio B Buffet

I will be traveling to Vegas in March and would like to try the Studio B Buffet at the M Resort. Is it worth the trip from the strip?
If you have a car it is definitely worth the trip. It's one of our favorite buffets and it's very easy to earn a free buffet from gambling (their website will list the current point requirements for a free buffet). If you don't have a car I think they still offer a shuttle from the Fashion Show Mall - it picks up near the Forever 21 store. The cost of a taxi from the strip is probably upwards of $50 - not worth the trip.

The M is worth visiting if you've never been there. The buffet is good but not as good as it used to be.

The Palms buffet is cheaper for about the same quality and not as far of a drive.
Thanks for the feedback. I will give it a try.

The M buffet is far superior to the one at the Palms.
It costs more, but is worth it.
do they still have the slow, long, lines at the studio b buffet?
If you mean the lines at the cashier, yes, depending on when you go. The usual meal times of noon and 6 p.m. are always pretty crowded, but that could be said for just about any restaurant. Once you're inside, the lines aren't long at all.

We are Vegas Buffet lovers and finally got a chance to eat at Studio B last July. We were not impressed. We had dinner and lunch the next day and neither was great. It was good but not comparable to Bellagio, Wynn or Wicked Spoon. We thought it was more in line with Mirage or MGM. M was a nice place to stay and we enjoyed the property very much but the Buffet was just so so, Maybe we caught it on off days or something.

I gotta agree with Pj on this 1. Tried the champagne brunch last year ( $15.00 with players card) and it had crab legs, mimosas, mongolian beef strips, made to order omelets etc! The Palms seafood buffet is $19.99 the M is $39.00. I've had both buffets twice. When the M buffet first came out it was the rave. I remember stopping there on the way to the airport because it was a "must have buffet" when it first came out. It was worth it. Next trip...not so much! For $ and value (and gas) Palms has it hands down! IMHO.

But hey if you are heading out there, the "M", then by all means. Oh BTW your 50% off Palms LVA coupon means the Champagne brunch is $10 apeice (they don't give you the players car discount ). Still a great deal though. If you are at the Champagne brunch Sunday, March 22nd, I'll be the 1 with the Buffalo Bills Hat on (between 1:30-2:30)
I was able to try the Studio B Buffet and I thought it was pretty good. The food was fresh and desserts were great. This buffet was worth the trip.
